What is the Eligibility Criteria?

Our home childhood vaccinations is free for all Singapore Citizens and includes a developmental assessment and certain touch point and all the recommended vaccines under the National Childhood Immunization Schedule (NCIS) up to 18 months of age. We offer preferential rates for PR’s and Foreigners.

We also provide an optional Rotarix vaccine at at additional cost.

What services are offered?

Our home visits will be conducted by a trained member of our healthcare professional team. When a childhood development assessment is required, our doctor will visit your home to perform the medical examination as well as adminsiter the necessary vaccinations. Our trained nurses will visit when there is no clinical assessment required.

We offer coverage up to the first 18 months of life.

What should I prepare before the home visit?

Please have the following available on the day of your home visit.

a) Your child's health booklet for our team to fill in the vaccines and growth charts. It would be advisable to have completed the developmental checklist as per your child's age before our visit

b) Please have your CDA ATM card and pin ready if you would like to use this as a form of payment for the optional Rotarix vaccine. The pin code would have been sent to you by mail.

What are some of the possible side effects to the childhood vaccinations?

a) It is common, and normal, for your child to experience soreness, redness and a lump over the injection site.

b) Fevers are also a common occurrence after vaccinations but should last for 1-2 days before resolving on its own.

c) Haus medical offers a free 24/7 Whatsapp support manned by our doctors up to 7 days post vaccinations. Details will be sent to parents after each visit.

My baby was premature. Can i undergo the home vaccine programme?

Babies born before 35 weeks are recommended to follow-up with a specialist paediatrician for vaccinations and developmental screening up to 2 years of age.

What is your cancellation policy?

At Haus Medical, we are committed to providing exceptional care in the comfort of your home. To help us maintain a high level of service and accommodate all of our patients effectively, we have implemented a cancellation policy. This policy is designed to ensure a smooth and efficient scheduling process for you, while also respecting the time and resources of our dedicated team. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our policy and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

You may reschedule your appointment up to a maximum of 2 times at least 2 working days (Mondays to Fridays excluding public holidays) in advance.

For any appointment rescheduling less than 2 working days before the confirmed appointment date, an administrative fee of $40 nett will apply to reconfirm your new booking. For example, an appointment on Wednesday afternoon should be rescheduled before Monday 5 pm that same week. For an appointment confirmed on Monday morning, please let us know by Thursday 5 pm, the week before of any changes

A rescheduling fee of $145 nett will apply for ‘no-shows’ (e.g. patient is not physically present at the address provided at the time of your appointment or if you are uncontactable at the time). Please note that we will NOT be able to reschedule your appointment from the 2nd incident onwards and we would advise that your child’s needs would be better served at a polyclinic, General Practitioner or Paediatrician of your choice.

Exceptions may be made to the above policies in case of emergencies or extenuating circumstances and you may be entitled to a waiver of our administrative or rescheduling charges at Haus Medical’s discretion. Please contact us for your requests and this will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

For non-Singapore citizens, all a-la-carte home-based vaccine appointments must be completed within three (3) months from your date of purchase and is not transferrable to another patient, even within the same household. Failure to complete your appointment within the allocated timeframe will result on a forfeit of your service with no refund.

Additionally, the following terms and conditions apply for our home-based and on-site vaccination services: a) Our medical team of doctors and nurses reserve the right not to administer any vaccinations of medications during your scheduled appointment if it is deemed to be unsafe or there are any contraindications. Examples include your child having recently received a live vaccination within the last 28 days, an acute febrile illness, vaccine component allergies, and more. b) To adhere to the highest standards of care based on MOH vaccination guidelines and safety regulations, we require full disclosure of your child’s most up-to-date immunisation and birth records before confirming the appointment. Failure to provide accurate information may result in a delay or cancellation to your intended appointment, and no refunds will be eligible.
